People — Dialogues with Dolphins (PDD)™

Interview with Myself: A Candid Conversation about the Project "People – Dialogues with Dolphins" (PDD)™

"Sometimes the most important questions are the ones we need to ask ourselves..."

WHY DID I DECIDE TO INTERVIEW MYSELF?

Every day I receive numerous questions about my new project. Some are fascinated by the idea, while others skeptically shake their heads. And I thought - why not ask myself those questions that are truly important? Those I hear from others, and those that live deep in my consciousness.

WELL, LET'S START WITH THE MAIN THING - WHY DO I NEED THIS?

You know, it's like love - it's hard to explain why exactly this person, why exactly now. But I'll try. Imagine that you've found the key to something incredible, to something that can change the world. Dolphins are not just beautiful marine creatures. They possess an intelligence that we have barely begun to understand. Their capacity for empathy, their social connections, their language - all of this can teach us something important about ourselves.

BUT WHY RIGHT NOW? WHY NOT A YEAR AGO OR A YEAR FROM NOW?

You know, in Japanese culture, there's a concept called "ikigai" - the reason for your existence. This project is my ikigai. It was born right now because all the stars aligned: my experience, my resources, and most importantly - an acute need for such initiatives. The world is changing rapidly, and we must manage to preserve what is truly important.

MANY ASK ABOUT MONEY. HOW DO I PLAN TO FINANCE THE PROJECT?

This is entirely my personal philanthropic project. I consciously chose this path because some ideas must develop freely, without being tied to commercial interests. Yes, it's risky. Yes, it requires significant personal investments. But I believe that sincere efforts for the benefit of society always find support.

WHAT ARE WE SPECIFICALLY DOING IN THE PROJECT?

At this stage, the project "People — Dialogues with Dolphins" (PDD)™ focuses on creating a comprehensive information platform that combines knowledge about dolphins from various fields:

Information Center:

  • Collecting and systematizing information about dolphins from scientific, educational, and cultural sources
  • Creating a unified information space accessible to a wide audience
  • Forming a multifaceted picture of the dolphin world through different perception prisms

Knowledge Platform:

  • Generalizing scientific research on dolphin behavior, communication, and intelligence
  • Presenting materials about marine ecosystems in an accessible and engaging format
  • Preparing the foundation for future educational and research initiatives

Communication Space:

  • Creating a platform for knowledge exchange between specialists and enthusiasts
  • Forming a community interested in studying and preserving marine life
  • Preparing the ground for future interdisciplinary projects and research

Our Current Mission: to collect, systematize, and make knowledge about dolphins accessible, creating a foundation for future scientific, educational, and cultural initiatives.

HOW DO I SEE THE FUTURE OF THE PROJECT?

I see PDD as a global platform, a bridge between the scientific community and ordinary people. Imagine a place where a marine biologist can share their discoveries with an artist, where a programmer can work together with an ecologist, where everyone can contribute to understanding and preserving marine life.

WHAT ARE THE MAIN CHALLENGES I SEE BEFORE THE PROJECT?

Skepticism is our main challenge. Many believe that studying dolphins is something frivolous or too ambitious for a private initiative. But look at history - all great discoveries started with "crazy" ideas. Another challenge is time. We must act quickly while there is still something to preserve and study.

WHAT DO I WANT TO SAY TO THOSE WHO ARE READING THIS?

Don't be afraid of big ideas. Don't be afraid to start something new. Yes, the project is only ten days old, but every great journey begins with the first step. If you have a dream, if you see an opportunity to make the world better - act. Don't wait for the perfect moment or complete approval from those around you. Start with what you can do right now.

AND THE LAST QUESTION - IS IT WORTH IT?

You know, when I look at dolphins, when I see how they communicate, play, demonstrate intelligence, I understand - it is absolutely worth it. Every minute of work, every invested resource is an investment in a future where humanity will learn to better understand not only marine inhabitants but also ourselves. And if this project helps to bring such a future even a little closer - then it was not in vain.
